Halloween Flashback

Since tomorrow is the first day of October, I thought I’d post some of my Halloween projects from the past:

Salt Dough Pumpkins for Alpha Mom (pictured above).

Pumpkin Cheesecake (this is my favorite dessert in the world).

Halloween Ribbon Wreath.

Paper Bag Bowls.

Last-Minute Kids’ Owl Costume for Alpha Mom.

Recycled Jars and Cans to Jack O’ Lanterns.

Recycled Cardboard Hanging Bat Mobile.

Cereal Box Stenciled Bags for Alpha Mom.

Scrappy Owl Treat Bag.

Ghost Garland.

Needle Felted Pumpkins.

Printable Owl Stickers.

Bat Leaf Prints.

And check out Whip-Up’s round-up of Halloween crafts from last year, in three parts (one, two, and three). And I just made these pumpkin muffins from Ellie Krieger, which I love, but we’ll put them to the test today when I serve them to a bunch of kindergarteners. More fall food inspiration here.

  1. as always, you post the most wonderful projects! my son and d-i-l love Halloween and I’ve been trying to think what to make for them and the pumpkins will be great!

  2. thanks for the ideas – great timing! i’m hoping to do some halloween decorating this weekend, and think i can even get my toddler to help with some of these.

  3. I am really loving the bat made from a leaf. I may need to walk the neighborhood and find a tree that has such a leaf! Great ideas – thank you!
