My kid is on a roll and has been falling asleep every night with yarn attached to her fingers! See my earlier post here for a link to finger weaving (or finger knitting) instructions. This is a great activity for fidgety 8-year-olds.

Just like my house! I took a print out of the finger weaving tute you linked to camping with us over the holiday weekend and taught my 8 and 7 year old during the baby’s nap time….now we have woven yarn “tails” all over the place!
I’m pretty sure the saying is, “on a roll” (not role).
Yes, of course! Brain snafu on that one. Thanks for pointing it out.
Such a good idea! These would be a great way to wrap our Christmas gifts.

Here’s a great tute for your daughter to make fun & hip bracelets for her buddies using finger knitting with jersey knits. I’ve been slicing up old t-shirts that have done their time & have fun colors. My recommendation is to make them shorter than you think they should be, as they stretch out after a few wears.

ps. This isn’t my blog, but one that has some really fun projects. 🙂
