Who can appreciate something handcrafted by you or your children more than Mom? I’ve started a new page with craft ideas for Mother’s Day. This fabric silhouette plaque is from Thompson Family-Life.
I’ll be adding to this list over the next few weeks. Please send me your ideas!
This is great. I must make some for the grannies on Mothers day. Thanks!
What about Tawashi (http://www.thehookandi.com/2008/04/15/tawashi-the-dishes/)? I have love them since I first read from them at Amy’s blog (http://www.thehookandi.com/). I really find them fun to make and a nice gift for mom, of course, if you make it as a bath element, not kitchen, lol…
Hope this helps for your ideas!
I find your gift list a great idea and so helpful!
hey there –
I am a teacher and going to make these with the children for their parents. I plan on using different scrap booking paper. Do you think it would be a good idea to varnish the silhouette separately and then the paper before gluing it together? To avoid bleeding? Thanks in advance!
