Shop update! I just posted some fabric panels, pouches, and coasters in my shop!
Crafty Planner Podcast
Check out my conversation with Sandi Hazlewood on the Crafty Planner podcast! We talk about the lack of diversity in the fabric industry, how crafting can be feminist, and overcoming perfectionism. To be honest, I was anxious about the recording because I’m not sure how well I articulated my feelings, but I hope it will start a long overdue conversation and encourage others to support positive change.
You can read my latest newsletter for a more coherent argument in support of representation in the industry. Also, be sure to support Sandi’s work!
Spring Market
The projects are stacking up! If you live near Atlanta, mark your calendar for the Indie Craft Experience Spring Market next weekend, on Sunday, April 8.
Strike-Offs
I just received the strike-offs from my next collection for Kokka! This collection is three designs in linen/cotton blend fabric. It should be shipping this summer! This collection was created from my experiments with freezer paper stencils last fall.
New Prints
These are my latest papercuts turned into prints! I also got new neon ink, which is very difficult to photograph. I’m still enjoying these fabric experiments. Now what to sew?
