A quick and easy project to add a handmade touch to the Thanksgiving table.
Supplies (for 4 coasters):
- wool felt scraps in fall colors
- interfacing
- contrasting thread
- Cut out 8 maple leaf shapes according to template: maple-leaf-coasters
- Cut 4 pieces of interfacing in a smaller size (if using fusible, iron interfacing onto the back of a leaf).
- Stack two contrasting colors of felt leaves together (slightly overlapping) and sew leaf veins by hand or machine.
Done!

Cute. You could sew these on a ribbon and create a garland just like Pottery Barn Kids.
Good idea. Look at the garland at Pottery Barn Kids: http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/ty195

How cute and simple! I love the contrasting colors!
I used several colors of fleece, the extra thickness makes the stitch lines show more. I whipped up 35 of them!!!
I will be doing these..thanks for the awesome project!
