Tooth Fairy Time

tooth-fairy-pillow-1

My older daughter has her first loose tooth!  So since I had this matryoshka doll machine embroidery design already, I modified the shape and turned it into a tooth fairy pillow.  The fairy has a little baby tooth with her and wings on her back.

If you have an embroidery machine, you can get the design files in my Etsy shop.  If you don’t have an embroidery machine, I ran across a super cute tutorial from Goody-Goody.  It’s matryoshka doll madness out there.

On Dancer, on Prancer….

Is it possible that there are only 38 days until Christmas?  So here’s a new appliqué design for the holidays, now available in my Etsy shop.  You might notice that this is my deer design with antlers!  I hope to get a snowflake embroidery design up later this week.  I’ve also updated the holiday craft links in my sidebar and added a button for the handmade toys page.  Both new buttons designed by my almost-six-year-old.

Embroidery Owl

I just opened an Etsy shop featuring designs for embroidery machines.  I’ll also be adding some sewing patterns and some handmade goods in the coming weeks, so take a look here.  When I had an embroidery business I was frustrated with the lack of clean and simple designs on the market so I started coming up with my own.

So here’s a little freebie for those of you with embroidery machines.  My five-year-old is the head of my design team.  I took the little owl drawing that she made and turned it into an embroidery design.   This is for a 4×4 hoop with a stitch count of 4437.  If you need a different format, just e-mail me and I’ll be happy to send it to you.
