Holiday Giveaway #2

OK, here’s another great giveaway. This time from Brooklyn General Store. They have all kinds of goodness in their shop, including designer and vintage fabric, books, yarn, handmade goods and cards. I love the simple and nostalgic look of their online shop. They have generously offered a $50 gift certificate for one lucky winner!
To enter, simply take a look at the shop here, then come back and leave a comment about your favorite things. This giveaway is open to residents of the United States only. Please enter before Friday, December 18 (midnight eastern). Happy Holidays!

I really want to experiment with some dyed merino wool. They have some lovely colors, but the silver is my favorite. Very cool shop!
Loved all the ribbon and that my favorites -yarn, fabric, and items for spinning all together. I would love some more Blue Sky Alpaca wool or oil cloth for Christmas. First time to see the store as well. I’m glad they have advertised here.
What a cool shop! I really love their cards (especially the “Card, Squirrel”, “Dearest”, and “Autumn Acorns, a cupcake party” – the latter because it reminds me of the cooking parties I had with my old college roommate involving a single kitchenaid and any surface covered with baking paraphenalia in a very large kitchen). The dye colors in their roving and fibers are great (I love the Space Dyed Marmalade Coriedale!). I’ll definitely have to bookmark this shop for the future.
I love the little birdhouse and the vintage 1 fabric
hope I win!! Thanks for doing this giveaway!
very cool! I think I’d get some Echino… I’ve always wanted some, but I haven’t been able to splurge on it for myself…
It’s so hard to choose. I love the bird houses as well as the ribbons and trims. Thank you for hosting this (and thank you, Brooklyn General!)

I was going to say my fav is the fabric, but I fell in love with the yarn. Great shop!
I like the modeling wax and the natural dyes in the “general store” section. Great giveaway.
Between the beautiful yarn, fabric, and the oilcloth, it would be hard to make a choice.
I love it all!! The ribbon, the birdhouses, the patterns, the flea market fancy, garden maze, knitting needles…. *sigh* I’m crossing my fingers!!
As a knitter, I could easily spend that entire $50 on some of the amazing yarn they carry. One can never have too much yarn in the stash, right?
Wow, what a cool little shop! It’s really hard to choose what I like best, the fabric is great, the yarn is wonderful, and the cards are so sweet! If I win, I’m sure my daughter will be helping me pick out our stuff and who knows what she’ll want.
love the rosebud pincushion! thanks for the chance to win.
The Bianca wool dress is ridiculously gorgeous!! Thanks for such a great giveaway!!
I love the wool roving… and the needle felting tools. Thanks for the chance to win!
I’ve been wanting to try knitting in the round lately, so I think I’d get some circular needles along with some yarn and maybe a book!
I love the amazing selection of yarns and fabrics, but I have to admit I’m most drawn to the oilcloth!
Being new to knitting, I love all the great books they have available. I do have a weakness for vintage fabric, they have soo much! And the little dragon finger puppets are awesome. Thanks for sharing such a great store!
Vintage fabric! My favorite!!:)
What a great giveaway! I’ve been wanting to visit this store, but always end up there on a day they’re closed… so nice to see they have an online shop now! I’d buy fabric, for sure! Probably some more Echino, or maybe some vintage fabrics… just lovely! Thanks for a great giveaway!
All of the Westminster Fibers by Amy Butler are lovely.I’m also enchanted by the Malabrigo yarn. What a nice store!
I love the Tamar Mogendorff pieces – mushrooms, birdhouses, and owls!
I am currently obsessed with felting. I would love to be able to get some roving and needles and learn how to do it myself! Thanks for the opportunity!
It’s all about the fabric for me. I love the Kokka airplane fabric and anything Echino.
I would love some yarn for my knitting projects!!

What a great shop! Thanks for highlighting it! My favorite things are: the Cozy Crochet book, JY11 City Deer and Shrooms fabric, ALL of the ribbons, and I think I could go on forever!
Oooooh, I dig their ribbon/trim selection. The Brown Bunnies and Blue Singing Bird designs, especially. Oh, the things I could make with them!
Their yarn is delicious! Of course, I can’t get enough of the beautiful cashmere- I’m kind of loving the lobster pot. Could I just win and then make some beautiful gloves?
The paints & dyes, the fabric (wow, I can’t believe the crazy huge selection they have)!
I’m a fabric lover, so that’s what I love. But they have tons of fun things!
