I made these cereal box books with my five-year-old last week. Very similar to my cereal box journals from last year, but your kids can sew these themselves. The instructions are over at Alpha Mom.

What a great way to celebrate Read Across America Day!
I love it! What a great thing to do with your kids to get them off the T.V.
I’m sorry, I’m too distracted by the fact that you have the lovely bead seersucker that I have been coveting but too cheap to buy!
thank you for this lovely idea! i am often in the mood to make something, but i don’t want to commit too much time to it and i want a fun result fast. this is perfect and the fact that it is giving one more life to the cereal box waste makes me love it even more! it would be super cute to reuse children’s one sided doodle pages or something similar and alternate them thru-out the book so they appear as pictures…??? just thinking out loud here. haha!
This is such a lovely green idea. I love it!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
I love this idea! Something to DO with a four-year-old that ends with something else to DO with a four-year-old. Thank you!
I love this idea. Saving my cereal boxes for a rainy day. Thanks!
