  1. I really just looked at every single one of those links and printed off at least half of them. Thank you so much for sharing all these fun little cards (yours included, of course). So fun!

  2. I love me some printables! I’ve got some adorable printable valentines titled “Snuggle Bunny” over at my etsy shop. Come check them out!

  3. A word to the wise about melting crayons. I did this craft a few days ago with my 5 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it! However, we used a 12-heart mold that is made of silicone (from Michaels). It worked well but, alas, when I put it in the dishwasher it left a chalky/crayony layer on all things plastic. There was hardly any residue in the mold before I put it in – honest!

So … lesson learned and now I’m passing it on. Do not put a silicone mold in your dishwasher after melting crayons in it. Unless you want to wash the plastic dishes by hand afterwards to remove the residue, and use a knife to pick gross waxy bits out of the bottom of your dishwasher.

The hearts turned out great, by the way 🙂

  4. I loved your idea of having your daughter design her own valentines and I used your idea but changed it a little to suit us. My oldest has 23 children in her class so I had her make 4 designs in color and then we printed those out, they turned out great! I linked from my blog on it to yours, you can see it here if you are curious. Keep up all the good work, you keep myself and others inspired!!!

  5. My kids and I made the heart crayons. They had so much fun creating their colors and had even more fun hand picking their creations to give to their friends. I found that a rubber heart mold worked great for these and the kids want to try this project again with different shapes. Thanks sharing your great idea.
