Take a look at the sidewalk chalk we made over at Alpha Mom. An easy project suitable for kids of all ages to celebrate Independence Day. You can make chalk in any shape or color, so these would make great party favors.
UPDATE: I recommend that an adult mix the ingredients away from the kids. As with any product recommended here, you should read the ingredients and follow all safety precautions on the label.
Brilliant link. Thank you. Just in time for the first annual Mullen Avenue Hopscotch tournament.
What a wonderful idea! But then again – you always have them! I’ve mentioned you on my blog – feel free to come and take a peek! 🙂
What a great idea! Thanks for the link!
I’ve just discovered your blog and I love it! Great ideas! :-)))
I love your site!
Unfortunately, Plaster of Paris has a warning on the side of the container stating it contains chemicals known to cause cancer. Thus making it an inappropriate component for items intended for children.
Thanks for your comment, Heather. We also received the comment that you left over at Alpha Mom and a warning should be added shortly.
I would definitely recommend that parents mix the ingredients together.
