I just opened an Etsy shop featuring designs for embroidery machines. I’ll also be adding some sewing patterns and some handmade goods in the coming weeks, so take a look here. When I had an embroidery business I was frustrated with the lack of clean and simple designs on the market so I started coming up with my own.
So here’s a little freebie for those of you with embroidery machines. My five-year-old is the head of my design team. I took the little owl drawing that she made and turned it into an embroidery design. This is for a 4×4 hoop with a stitch count of 4437. If you need a different format, just e-mail me and I’ll be happy to send it to you.
Hey! The shop is great! I was just looking at my google reader, and your posting popped up. I haven’t tried the elephant yet, as the end of the month was a busy time for my other business. However, now that it is the morning of the 1st and I can breathe a bit, I’m headed down to my sewing studio. — Michele
Your shop totally rocks! And the little owl freebie is adorable. I can’t wait to share this news with my readers. I’ve scheduled a link to your post to go live on my blog Friday morning (Central USA time), October 3. I hope it brings you a few extra clicks.

awesome!!!
How sweet of you to offer up this little owl! I’m going to head over to your shop right now and take a look!
So so cute! Thanks!
Oh, you do make me wish I had an embroidery machine. I love this owl and the appliqué one in your shop!
Thank you for the great owl design. I got an embroidery machine last Christmas, but, like you, am not all that impressed by the available designs… other than great monogram fonts. I can’t wait to see more designs in your shop!
I love your site. I am only two years late, but could you send the free owl in jef format. The owl is the mascot for my grandson’s school – this would look great on a t-shirt. Thanks.
